Want to start your own 

Political Buzz - Maryland group? 

 It's easy!

1.  Scout out a local gathering place.  It could be your home, a friend's home or a local restaurant, public school cafeteria or library meeting room.

2.  Choose a date and invite friends to join you for some good old-fashioned face-to -face community activism!  Feel free to use our Flyer which can be found under "Pages" to let your friends and neighbors know about your meeting!

3.  If you have a large enough group (say 15+) check our speaker's list and try to arrange a guest for your meeting.  Also, larger groups who want to meet at a restaurant should check in first to see if they can accomodate you.

4.  Even if  you don't have a guest, plan a simple Agenda.  Think about what issues or concerns your friends and neighbors may want to discuss.  Print out Maryland - Facts & Figures as well as an Action Sheet for your guests to take home with them so they are better informed and ready make a difference.   Education is Key!

5.  Email us at politicalbuzzmd@gmail.com to give us the details of your meeting and we will post it on our blog to help advertise and build your numbers.

6.  Don't forget!  We always begin our meetings with The Pledge of Allegiance and a short prayer.  Please try to bring even a small flag and a short blessing to begin your meeting. 

7.  You may start small, but expect more people to join you as word gets around!
