Another Great Success!
I would like to personally thank our attendees and speakers for helping us make the 4th gathering of Political Buzz - Maryland a wonderful success! It is so inspiring to see concerned citizens take an interest in what happens in our state and educate themselves on the issues. Local, grassroots networking is key to making bigger things happen.
On Wednesday night we heard from Cathy Kelleher of Election Integrity Maryland about 173 cases of suspected voter fraud involving residents registering and voting in both Florida and Maryland. This resulted from comparing records from just these two states. Imagine what they would find by similarly cross-checking all states.
We also heard from Delegate Kelly Schulz about her formal request, dated August 12, 2013, to investigate the findings released by Election Integrity Maryland and True the Vote. To date, she has had no response from the Maryland Board of Elections, Governor O'Malley or AG Doug Gansler.
On a separate but related note, Cathy also informed us that the Maryland Board of Elections took it upon themselves to run the voter registrations in Maryland against those in DC. This comparison identified 11,000 records - just in MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD - that needed to be verified since it appears that voters voted in both jurisdictions in the same election!
Finally, author, investigative journalist and former Congressional Candidate, Ken Timmerman, was kind enough to share his experience with the Montgomery County Board of Elections in an attempt to check the accuracy of electronic voting machines. Suffice to say, Ken's investigation did not give him any increased confidence in the results from 2012, nor in the integrity of the upcoming 2014 elections.
Because we are fighting an uphill battle to ensure the integrity of our elections, please do what you can to support Election Integrity Maryland and True the Vote. They work hand-in-hand to identify and expose fraud that effectively nullifies your legal vote. Voter fraud has the ability to literally change the course of history.
Information about contacting our speakers can be found below.
Thank you again and I look forward to seeing everyone next time!

Thank you for attending Political Buzz last night. This was a far better venue than the previous Political Buzz …though a little chilly...
It is good to know there are people who are working on the problems we have in this state. I hope you found the discussions helpful.
If you have any questions about the political boundaries in Montgomery County, about how the county and state GOP party is organized, if you have any interest in getting involved with next year's elections (or even if you don’t) please consider coming to one of the training sessions I mentioned last evening. They are held on the first Saturday of each month at the Montgomery County GOP HQs 15833 Crabbs Branch Way, Derwood (Rockville), MD. The next session will be on October 5th at 10:00 AM.
Also, please save the date - Oct 26th for the Upper Montgomery Republican Women's club party at the Golden Bull Restaurant.
If you have any further questions of our speakers, they were:
Hon Kelly Schulz kelly.schulz@house.state.md.us
Cathy Kelleher realtorcak@aol.com
Ken Timmerman timmerman.road@verizon.net
Also here is an article by Timmerman from the Washington Times:
Good news! We were told as we left last night that Bennigan’s is constructing another room above the main restaurant and that we would be able to use that room in the future. I think that might be the end of our quest for a good venue. We are not sure when the room will be finished and we are not sure if the porch can be made warmer in colder weather… Stay tuned we are working on the next Political Buzz and you will be the first to know!
Thank you again, Pat Fenati

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Germantown for a fun night of networking and learning. We had four great speakers - Charles Lollar, Dan Bongino, Stella Morabito Green & Doug Mainwaring - who were very gracious despite the less-than-ideal venue. We will continue to gather and network so that Maryland voters can make educated decisions in 2014!
